Do you think Joseph Boyden should write stories about the Indigenous people of Canada? Why or why not?

I believe Joseph Boyden should continue writing stories about the Indigenous people as long as he is respectful to their culture, history, and the people. His stories should not portray any negativity or hatred towards the Indigenous communities. I think his writing can be justified if it shows that it is for honouring them. There shouldn’t be any false or misleading information about the people and he should collect clear, accurate background information from the actual descendants of Indigenous groups. This way, he can go more in depth for detail and realism. Throughout his stories, he does help raise awareness along with other Indigenous authors that also help readers respect the culture even more.
