The point of view I used is objective.
The 3 policemen knocked on the door. The protagonist opened the door and let the police officers in. The protagonist showed around the mansion he worked at and brought chairs for the police officers to sit on. The chairs were placed directly above the floor where the slaughtered old man lay. The police officers sat down and started to talk to the protagonist/each other. They continued to talk, but something was strange about the protagonist. The protagonist began to look uneasy and frantic. His face became pale as he spoke more frequently in a high-pitched voice. The police officers did not notice that something was odd about the protagonist as he was gasping for breath. The 3 officers remained seated, chatting to one another when the protagonist behaved more frantically with his mouth foaming. The protagonist suddenly shrieked, “Villains! Dissemble no more! I admit the deed! –tear up the planks! Here, here! –It is the beating of his hideous heart!”
