Homework / Assignment Reflection
Topic: Assesment (Grade 10 Review) Date: 01/31/17
Assignment: Page: 1-2 Questions: 1-9
Small Mistakes I made: The small mistakes I made were making the graphs, they were messy, I’m bring graph paper for tomorrow.
As I am doing the questions: I am realizing what a mistake taking math 10 ahead of time in the summer was. It was way to fast and I don’t remember a lot. Just the basics.
After marking: I understand how to write out an equation (y=mx+b) from a table of data but I do it differently, by manipulating the equation and putting in the difference between y1 and y2 and as m and then from the data table putting in a random x and y coordinate and make it work by solving be algebraically.
I just wanna know another way to do it
Larger Issues I am having problems with: Remembering the systems of linear equations and more complex lessons we covered in grade 10.
Example: Substitution and Elimination
Questions to go over in class: #9
Specifically #9 b)
Is this one step that you are stuck on or is it the whole problem?
Im not sure how to manipulate the equation to make it work out to 1/64th of 1000g. I need to do things in steps. Like A=1000 (1/2)^n –> 1/64=1000(1/2)^n —> ??? Then I’m confused…
Your method of the other way of finding the equation is completely valid and great!
