This story is about a man named Illuka (eye-luc-ah) and a girl named Maya. the moral of this story is that “those who are the hardest to love, need it the most.” also bravery and kindness. In this story, no one in the village talks to Illuka and he doesn’t talk to anyone because he is Grumpy all the time. Then Maya comes in looking for her red rock she is brave enough to go to Illuka’s house looking for her rock. She discovers that Illuka is actually very kind and he isn’t grumpy, he is just lonely. He doesn’t have anyone to love and many people, even the elderly listened to and believed all the rumours that were spread about him. So this story also teaches not to spread or listen to rumours.
