Albinism:

Albinism is a trait that follows Mendelian Genetics. Albinism is a disorder that varies in severity. Albinism is caused by having less or the absence of the pigment melanin. Albinism often causes white skin, light hair, light eye colour and vision problems. It affects 1 out of 17,000 people globally. Albinism in inherited in a recessive pattern. That means that both copies need to be present to develop albinism. If an individual has one copy of the recessive condition, they do not show any signs or symptoms of Albinism.
