cut down and remove every tree from (an area).
Money Saver Effects on Wild & Plantlife
Increased Water Flow Loss of Recreational Land
Increased Farm Land
the growing and cultivation of trees.
Easy and Efficient May expose the site to erosion
Avoid damage to regeneration May not be considered visually pleasing.
Easier control of insect & disease problems Not well suited to shade-tolerant species
Enhance worker safety Effects on Wild & Plantlife
the practice of cutting down one or two species of trees while leaving the rest intact.
Ecological impact on the forest is reduced Some Trees don’t regenerate well
Less vulnerable to disease Wind & Ice storms can damage open spots
Regain most of their capacity to take in carbon- Bigger fire risk
dioxide soon after they are selectively cut. Doesn’t have full diversity after growing back
Better for wildlife than clearcutting
After careful consideration, I suggest we do both, They can cover each other’s weaknesses. Clear cut certain areas while you remove select trees from other areas. Simple as that. (It’s probably not as simple as I make it sound)
