Moose Hide Project Reflection – EFP 12

For Red Dress Day, I picked the task of creating an instagram post for the school account to share information about the similar Moose Hide Campaign Day. During this project I had the responsibility to educate myself on the Moose Hide Campaign and further inhance my understanding about the social issue of violence against Indigenous women. Another skill I had to untilize was my understanding of the Canva application to make this instagram post and tap into my inner graphic designer and overall im proud of the end product.

EFP 12 – Storytelling Podcast

Summary

In this podcast we reflected on the Indigenous stories we read during our storytelling unit. These stories ranged from traditional stories passed on from generation to generation, and stories depicting the struggles of Indigenous peoples from the past and present. After we read these stories as a group we would point out how these stories would relate to the AWOKB (Aboriginal ways of knowing and being) and our EFP 12 core competencies. Overall im proud of how the final product turned out, how quickly and efficently me and my group were able to complete this podcast, and how I was able to edit these audio clips despite not doing a podcast project since grade 9. Im also grateful we were given the opportunity to read these books and learn about these authors.

Heres our podcast.
