1. I think the number 1 safety visual guide should be Always washing your hands before/after cooking. Washing Hands were very important even before Covid-19 started and it is especially more important now ever since the spread of Covid-19.
2. Report all injuries to the teacher, get first aid promptly. Big or small injuries should always be reported to the teacher because even though it is a small cut, you could get blood on the food you’re making.
3. Work carefully around the stove. The stove is probably the most place you can get injured by getting burned. Even if you’re familiar around the stove, you should still be careful. Always remember to turn off the stove or you could injure yourself with a burn.
4. Use knives and other sharp instruments carefully/correctly. The kitchen knives are not a weapon or a toy you should be swinging around with. In order for everyone’s and your safety, please use sharp instruments carefully and correctly.
5. Always pay attention while cooking. You shouldn’t be on your phone or getting distracted while cooking, especially when you are holding a knife. You should always remember to pay attention.
