Key Question: What would an ethic of care towards the environment look like?

• When cutting a tree and planting 2 more some as thanks to mother nature

What would be needed to create it?

• Peoples collaboration and participation is needed for this to happen. by participating in this activity we could encourage people to join this cause in order for the higher ups to hear or listen.

What would we have to believe about the environment? How should we see it?

• We would have to believe that it won’t be here forever and at some point, it will disappear. We should see it as life because once it’s gone it’s gone

How would we act? – give scenarios

• When we take something from nature we should give something back
• Ex. when we cut a tree we plant 5 trees because the tree that one will cut have possibly lived for more than a year. Planting 2 or more can have a higher possibility of them growing 

What would be different about the world if everyone adopted this ethic of care towards the environment? Benefits and drawbacks?

• Our environment would be greener and possibly have more animals around.
• Benefits: more animal habitat, cleaner air, fewer landslides,
• Drawbacks: less  place to build infrastructures

Should we adopt an ethic of care towards the environment?

• Yes because soon we will lose our planet if we don’t do anything
