this week we learned about slopes. How to recognise them and how to find the slope using the different types of equations that was given to us.
for example: y-intercept, general form, point slope form
y-intercept – is the easiest one to read in my opinion because it gives you the slope and the y intercept.
General form – is “pretty useless” so you use algebra to change it into isolate y (get y by itself also known as y intercept)
*if the coefficient of y is positive just move the other numbers on the other side of the equal sign
Point slope form – you need 2 things to complete the equation which is a coordinate and the slope.
if m=3 and the coordinate is (3,5)
