I have a deep concern about the issue of car smog and its impact on the environment and public health in British Columbia. As the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, I believe your leadership can make a significant difference in addressing this pressing matter and finding effective solutions.

Car smog has become a real problem in our province. With the increasing number of vehicles on the roads and insufficient measures to control emissions, the air pollution levels are rising. This not only endangers the wellbeing of people that live here.

Furthermore, car emissions contribute significantly to greenhouse gas emissions in our province. To achieve our climate targets and reduce our carbon footprint, it’s crucial that we address car smog and work towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly future for British Columbia.
