This week in math 10 we learned I learned how to use elimination to solve solutions, also I prefer substitution but eliminations is harder for me so I picked it.
Ex)
Next
First I multiplied the top equation by -2 so I can make zero pairs.
Then I simplified it.
Next I added both equations together to eliminate and combine both equations.
Lastly to get y by itself, I isolated it by dividing by 7 to each side.
To find x, I used the second equation ad substituted y with 3.
Then I simplified.
And I got x=3
The solution for the equations is (3,2)
