This week I learned about identifying the domain and range in a graph and in a written form.

This is the first example the one without a graph and it’s asking for the domain and range. The domain is always the first number on the relation and the range is always the second number in a relation.. The domain is also known as (x) or an independent variable and the range is known as (y) or a dependent variable.

Also, you don’t repeat the same domain (x), if the number repeats it will overlap in the graph and that’s not a function.

Lastly finding the domain and range in a graph.

Since you are looking for domain first which is (x and horizontal), you only look at dots above or down of the x axis.

For range, you are looking for the (y and vertical), you only look at the dots that are left or right of the y axis.

If you do it right you should get this.
