Dear Kakashi,

Hello, I hope you are doing well and still alive. Ezra and I are doing great I just picked him up from his basketball game and they won 39-36. He is also wondering when you are coming back because you said it was going to be a quick war. The government is raising the taxes because they need money for the war and wars are supposedly expensive. They need money for ammunition, clothing’s, and guns. They are also selling “Victory bonds”, I don’t know what they are but I heard the government is going to give money after the war or something close to that, should I buy one there was so many commercials about them, they were everywhere?  Anyways, I asked why I couldn’t come with you in the war and they said we were too “emotional and frail” which is not true so they made us work on factories and other men related jobs. There are a small number of women who went (Edith Anderson close friend) only to nurse soldiers, which I don’t have and knowledge of and some worked as teachers like me and some worked in munition factories which I didn’t want to go into because they might explode at any moment. I’m not going to lie but ever since you men went to war we were working our butt’s off, without us the economy would’ve fallen. I hope we get some sort of reward after this war, like getting the right to vote or gender equality even with “black people”. I wished you didn’t go to this war it’s taking too long to finish and everything is so expensive now. Lastly, they added this “War Measure Act”, which I heard that it blocks communication and reads the mail before denying it or approving it. I don’t even know if you’re going to get this message but hopefully it gets approved.
