Part:1

I am a cell. But I’m not a normal cell. I  am the most common and the most aggressive of them all.  For humans do not know how I form. Also I am a un-curable brain tumor, only above 46 years of age. I shall tell you how I terrorize humans.

First let’s start with the basics. Tumors are formed because of mutations that changes genes, resulting in the cells growing uncontrollably and forming a tumor. Then I was born. My main purpose is to kill all humans because they have killed most of my kind, so I will take my revenge. I can disrupt thoughts, memory, emotions and most senses. My symptoms are frequent headaches, seizures, nausea, vomiting, and many more. I continue to grow until I’m treated. Without treatment, I can cause permanent damage and death. Unfortunately, humans know how to get rid of me, almost. They do surgery to remove most of me and reduce symptoms, that’s why he had me.

Michael was my host. I was born with him. Unfortunately I am a brain tumor. More specifically a “Glioblastoma”. As the doctors were examining Michael, they saw me. They had a sorry look and told his parents all about me.3 years later, I made Michael into my puppet and disabled his senses, as well as frequent vomiting and headaches. More bad luck comes at middle school and be labelled as “The Weirdo”. He would often have seizures in the middle of class and draw disgusted and unwanted stares. Fortunately for him, I ended his life quick as I am not my granddad that tortures my puppets until death. Also, I felt sorry for Micheal. I do not know if killing him was the right choice though… END

 

Part 2 Reflection:

1. I needed to know what Glioblistoma is before making my story.
2. When I worked through this project I used the Webpath Express that we were taught in English. The site gathers better and good information about a certain topic.
3. I gathered as much information about Glioblastoma by going from site to site (google and webpath) and putting them all together.
4. I verified the cites by checking the date it was last updated because some information and discovery might be made.
5. This project went pretty smoothly except that I didn’t know what to do for part 2 (which is this) so I just procrastinated, hopefully I can get this marked and get a better grade than zero.
