What are the forces that cause celestial objects to become sphere-shaped?
Planets and stars become sphere-shaped because of gravity. Big objects in space have gravity pushing down to the objects’ center, causing a sphere shape over time from all directions.

But they’re not all perfectly round. The spin of these objects affect the shape that is formed. Saturn, that spins more on its axis than other planets in our solar system, is more obloid in shape.

Smaller objects don’t have as big a gravitational field, causing asteroids to have more unique shapes.
I found this interesting to read and enjoyed the reminder on gravity and some of its inner workings. I also found it interesting how there’s more then just one factor in the shape of a planet.
I found it intersesting that planets and stars become spehere-shaped due to the gravity. I liked how you explained how the difference in the size changes the shape of the object. The video you provided had good information.
