This semester in English, I think I was pretty good at Communication. When we had our novel study, I contributed to the discussion quite a bit, and for our illumination poetry, I communicated well with my partner and during the presentation. The only thing I was maybe weak in was the spoken word, which I thought had good content, but fell short on time. For Social Responsibility, I made more friends in this class than I thought I would at the start of this course. For Critical Thinking, my work this course was not my best demonstration of this competency. My marks for assignments when we had to analyze were not very high, and I was kind of disappointed with how low my marks were this semester. I think it’s about the same for Creative Thinking as well. For our poster assignment, I didn’t think I was very creative for the design of the poster. For Personal Awareness & Responsibility, I think my work ethic this semester was one of the worst I’ve had, and I’ve only really been determined to finish work when it’s for a group assignment. In Positive Personal & Cultural Identity, I don’t really have much to say about this competency because we didn’t really touch on our personal identity much, but as for relationships, like I said at the beginning, I made more relationships this semester than I thought going into this course.
