Core-Competencies
Goals: For the future, as a group, I hope I can be a more helpful person. I want to be the one who gives people courage. I hope I can keep this ability in my future life matter is during work in the family. Become a stronger and more useful person in the society. Have a longer thinking process, before doing it, think about the consequences. Try to be involved in a group, and good communication with other members.
Neuron communication
- Neuron structure (use photos of your drawings)
- Neuron function
- How an action potential moves along the neuron fibre
- Resting potential: the electrical potential difference across the plasma membrane when the cell is in a non-excited state
- Depolarization: a change within a cell, during which the cell undergoes a shift in electric charge distribution, resulting in less negative charge inside the cell than outside.
- Repolarization: restoration of the difference in charge between the inside and outside of the plasma membrane of a muscle fiber or cell following depolarization.
- Refractory period: occurs right after you reach your sexual climax.
- Synapse structure
Mukherjee, S. (2021, June 18). Synapse – definition, types, structure, functions, and diagram. Science Facts. https://www.sciencefacts.net/synapse.html
- Synapse function
- How a signal is sent from axon of sending neuron to dendrite of receiving neuron
- -The transfer of information from neuron to neuron occurs by releasing chemical substances into the space between the axon and the dendrites. These chemicals are called neurotransmitters, and the process is called neurotransmission. The space between the axon and the dendrites is called the synapse.
- How the receiving neuron “determines” whether or not to send its own action potential
- – The process by which a receiving neuron decides whether or not to send its own action potential is known as synaptic integration. Neurons communicate with each other at synapses, which are specialized junctions where the terminal of one neuron (presynaptic neuron) releases neurotransmitters that affect the membrane potential of the receiving neuron (postsynaptic neuron).

We would like to thank all the people who used their power to make our countries and lives better. It is because of your service and sacrifice that we have the chance to live in the safe country that we do.
Core-Competencies
Desmos Art Functions Card 2023
1) how you figured out what equations to use?
- Before I drew the line, I observed the shape of the part I wanted to work on and write down a few different types of functions to compare which one perfectly fit.
(2) Did you have any challenges?
- I had a lot of challenges throughout the whole process. The line of the function did not go the way that I want, so I needed to keep changing numbers and try. And the one line in the image would use a couple of functions to make.
(3) Any aha moments?
- I figured out that all the places I got stuck can use the radical function. And when I tried to fill in the color, always had errors then found out that I mark a bunch of functions with the same numbers.
(4) Did you get help?
- Yes, when I got to struggle with things, I asked the teacher.
(5) Did you use any strategies?
- I would say not the strategies, but the experiences, when I worked on the half-last part of the picture, I felt my speed was faster and could decide which kind of function would fit different lines.
(6) How did this assignment help you understand more about transformations of functions and relations?
- Before doing this project, I only knew the shapes of functions and their names. But doing this project, I needed to create the functions by myself and also at the time needed to move them to the place I need. Through the project, I had a better understanding of transformation and expanding functions and also had a clear thinking of different types of functions. Overall, the project helped me have a deeper understanding of functions on the application side.

National Red Dress Day
I made a poster for the Red Dress Day. I chose red and black as the primary color for my sign because I think these two represent grave and warning. When I walked in the hallway with my friends, the color of the posters would make them go closer and check what it is. I believe it is a good situation and also what we want. It could get more attention from people and also involve them in the event of remembering the victims. I drew a red dress and added a hand with a heart to the poster, it is important for people to help each other out. The Red Dress Day is a day of remembering and improving, we should all participate for the future.
Trickster Concept Map
For the map, I tried to include all the stories and poems that we read in this unit. I found the similarity and differences, and then collected then to seven questions with examples.
Podcast — Intergenerational Trauma Analysis
The title of our podcast is Intergenerational Trauma Analysis. In the podcast, we talked about the three short stories; Charlie by Lee Maracle, Traplines by Eben Robinson, and You will never believe what happened by Thomas King. How do these intergenerational traumas affect people’s normal lives? How did these things happen? We discuss these questions from different perspectives and stories, and in the end, lead to the same consequences and issues.
EFP12-Worldview Reflection
This is the process that we read from the story “A women fell from the sky” that we draw.
