During the week 3 in math, the class learned about the exponent laws.
product law – when you are multiplying the same bases, you add the exponents together.
quotient law – when you are dividing the bases, you subtract the exponents.
power of a product law – when you have 2 bases in one bracket you muliply both bases by the same exponent.
power of a quotient law – when you have a fraction base with the exponent, you multiply both denominator and numerator by the same exponent.
power of a power law – when you have a power in a bracket with another exponent, you multiply these 2 exponents together.
