the french revolution had many events in it. including the reign of terror and the tennis court oath ect. it was a mean poor and brutal time in history but it would become a turning point in history. i think these are the most significant events in the French Revolution the National Assembly, the march on Versailles and the reign of terror.
The National Assembly its reason for it was to try to tell the government what to do in the sense of like a parliament. first it was in the king’s tennis court then it moved to the church of saint luis. most of the time the one person who would be talking would be Robespierre because he was the best speaker there and he could
influence people that didn’t like his ways. it was formed my the third class representatives so they could have a say of what happened in France but it did not work because the people in the assembly only listened to the first and second class and not the third class.
The March on Versailles this was important because it scared the king and queen because the women of France wanted blood. nearly 7000 working women armed with pitchforks and pikes marched towards Versailles. they would kill the guar
ds then stick their heads on the pikes to show that they have no mercy. Marie Antoinette almost didn’t escape but she did escape through an secret exit the she met up with king louis and escaped.
The Reign of Terror was a time of horrible executions. Robespierre went crazy with his power and executed anybody for anything pretty much. it all really started when that girl killed Marat. it was the committee of public safety who was ruling the guillotine and the heads it chopped off. the people in the committee of public safety are Louis Antoine, De Saint Just, Maximilian Robespierre, Bertrand Barere De Vievzac and Collot D’Herbois those where the people behind all the execution.
in conclusion thats why i thought that the National Assembly, The March on Versailles and the reign of terror are the main three events of the french revolution. the final things i have to say about the French revolution is mean bloody brutal so that is my essay hope you enjoyed it
