Indigenous Exploration “Education”

My homework journey “From Frustration to Accomplishment”

This homework was based on First Nation education. My group and I invested considerable time comparing indigenous and non-indigenous education in this assignment, and through this process, I learned a lot of things. we conducted extensive research using various search engines to ensure the success of this assignment. The experience was challenging, but ultimately rewarding, as I gained new knowledge and skills. I title this post My Homework Journey” From Frustration to Accomplishment” as it accurately reflects the range of emotions I experienced while completing this assignment.

Through this assignment, I faced some obstacles that I was able to overcome, and I also learned some important things. some of the obstacles were difficulties with finding appropriate information and understanding complex concepts. On the other hand, some of the things I learned through this assignment include the differences between indigenous and non-indigenous education, how to conduct thorough research using various search engines, and how to effectively communicate and work with the group, even though I am not still perfect. Overall, this assignment provided me with valuable experience and knowledge that I can carry forward into the future.

Before this assignment was given, I knew nothing about First Nation people and how they lived especially their education. However, after conducting research for this project, I now have a greater understanding of First Nation education.

Through the research, I learned that Canada has one of the world’s highest levels of educational obtainment,  yet the graduation rate of Indigenous students remains far lower than that of non-Indigenous students.
