For our first wave we did a constructive interference. This is where Tessa and I flicked the slinky the same way and the two crests conjoined and created a larger amplitude.

Our second wave was a destructive wave. This is where the trough and the crest cancel each other out and create a straight line for a split second. this kind of wave is used in noise cancelling headphones.

Our last wave we created was a standing wave. this is where it had the same wavelength and same amplitude and we created for nodes (where there are spots in the wave that look stationary).
