week 12- Relations and Functions

This week in math 10 we learned about the difference between a function and a relation when you look at them on a graph it is easier because you can understand them and visualize them better. On a t-chart or coordinates, it’s harder because you actually have to look at them and pay close attention, and see what lines up with what. Like these examples below you can see how the function is the one with all different numbers and it has nothing in common, all the numbers are not alike, but in the relation one they have 1 of the same number, and of course, you can have more than 1 number that matches, but with the relation example I put two because they have more than 1 partner.

Notice how the relation is the one that has two of the same numbers and the function is the one that is all different numbers.
