In the image I chose, called “Birds on the wire”, depicts 6 birds on a wire, on opposite sides of a wall or corner. There are 5 crows on one side of the wire, and a smaller green bird on the other. The 5 crows seem to be holding signs that indicate aggression towards the small green bird, who looks confused. The signs say things like “Go back to Africa” and “Migrants not welcome”. They are essentially not letting the green bird join their side because they are different. The green bird seems to be by itself, so it does not have any backup, unlike the crows, who are in a group. I think the point was to shine light on the immigrant crisis happening all over the world, and I think it does it well.
