First they came for the refugees

and I did not speak out

because I was not a refugee

 

Then they came for the indigenous people

and I did not speak out

because I was not indigenous

 

Then they came for the people with special needs

and I did not speak out

because I did not have special needs.

 

Now when will they come for me

because I was too busy or too apathetic

to defend my sisters and brothers?
