Math 10 – Week 10

We learned about function notation. Function notation is a input output type of equation that is used to find plots/ points on a graph.

a function notations looks like this: f(x)= 5x + 3

this equation will be used to find the x and y on a graph.

so first we will put 5 as the x.  f(5)= 5(5) + 3. this will equal f(5)= 28.

this tells me that when 5 is in the x position on a graph. the Y will be on 28. or (5,28).
