Christopher is talking about how 4 red cars in a row means its a good day.
monologue:
(On the way to school I saw 4 red cars in row and that made it a good day)
I don’t want to be sad about wellington dying because of it being a good day.
You may ask why 4 red cars meant that it was a good day.
And why 3 red cars in row made it quite a good day,
and that 5 red cars in a row made it a
super good day, and why 4 yellow cars made it a black day.
On a black day I don’t speak to
anyone and I don’t take any risks, and I sit on my own and don’t eat my lunch.
An example for this is when people leave their house and see that it’s sunny, it makes them happy, and rain makes them sad. But it’s not the weather that made them have a good day or a bad day it was just the way they thought.
I’m a very logical person and my psychologist said this was not very logical. I like things to be in a nice order, and one way of things being in a nice order was to be logical.
reflection:
I chose this character because he was the main protagonist, and he was also the one narrating the book. I had the most information about him because of this. I chose doing the car scene because it had a lot of information in the story itself and was easy enough to make into a monologue. I used the avatar maker and the description of the character from the book to create it. The character I chose does not understand emotions that is why his voice is monotone and normal when he is excited. One thing I found difficult doing this project is to do the voice over at home I kept forgetting and it became late.
