Reading Journal Template – Izzy Attar

This book really opened my eyes to the hardships of the residential school system. Richard Wagamese writes in first person and uses lots of imagery and description to give the feeling as if you’re witnessing the experiences the main character is going through. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who would like an insight to the thoughts and feelings of an Aboriginal going through the residential school system, instead of just statistics in a socials textbook.
