Synopsis of fatty legs

Hey Today I am going talk to you about the novel called fatty legs. The story takes place in Northeast territories of Canada in 1945 and this is the truth story about Olemaun write by Christy jay. It is about a girl who went to residential school.  she was taken from her family when she was eight- years- old, she was picks on by a lot of people and forced  to wear red stocking to embarrassing her by she teacher, she becomes laughingstock of school and she end up burn because she tried of feeling difference. the theme of the story is, she stays at residential school until she knows how to read. Having courage and being brave is another common theme. Olemaun goes through so much and is treaty very bad which makes her strong and courage person. In conclusion I feel connected to her   because my mom went to a residential school like Olemaun.
