All of these Core Competencies were applies into the Novel Inquiry project I did in my English 12 class. The task was to find an inquiry question based off of the theme of our novel and essentially answer that question. The novel I read was All the Light We Can Not See. The lit circle process used the communication competencies. As a group we would have discussions twice a week about the section we had just read, We took on a new role every time and were asked to respectfully share our thoughts and opinions. With the project, I had to use the critical thinking competency when creating question and thinking of creative ways to answer and find research. While looking through the information, I had to pick out what was needed to be said for people to understand the point I was trying to get across.
