Year End Reflection

 

Throughout this year I’ve gained a deeper understanding of society as a whole and I have learned the importance of identity. Before this class, I didn’t know how to identify or what made me, me but now I have a better outlook on who I am and what I want. My favourite part of the class was the debate we did with Ms. Bogren. It was the first time I had ever done anything in a debate setting and it was a lot of fun. My thinking did not change; however, I now have a wider view on what it’s like to be a minority. Overall I had a very good semester in English 11 and I was able to learn a lot.
