This week we stared on polynomials. In previous years I always have had some trouble with them and was nervous when we stared to do the unit and were told that they are really important for later years in math. Although I have had some trouble in the past and I was scared we were going to jump into a whole new concept, so far in the unit we have been reviewing over the things we learned last year, like the distributive property, zero pairs, and the algebra tiles. For me starting the unit off with showing the equations with algebra tiles and being able to visually see the equation has helped me out a lot.
