a) In your own words, what are the four writing types?

The four major types of of writing style are expository, descriptive, persuasive and narrative. Expository writing often explains facts to reader without opinion, can be used in recipe, article or history book. Descriptive writing describes characters, places or events in detail using the five senses, can be used in journal, poetry or novel. Persuasive writing is when author trying to convince reader with their opinion, often appears on advertisement, opinion news paper or review. Narrative writing is when author is telling reader story, character, action and dialog will be included. It is often use in poetry and novel.

b) After reading the comic, “Represent,” by Christian Cooper, which writing type would this be categorized under?

This type of whiting style would be categorized under narrative, persuasive and expository. Author is telling us a story, character, dialog are setting are included. Many events that were shown are what happened in real life and the author is trying to raise awareness of what is happening.
c) What is the comic showing us?

This comic is showing us what is happening in our society, many people are mistreat because of stereotype impression. The examples are little extreme but it is only minimal we know have happened, there are still many people suffer from racism around the world and we should make changes now .
