Core Competency:

The project I chose for my core competency assignment was my aquatic field studies blog. In this project we went to Coquitlam river and a pond to test the water quality in both bodies of water. We then determined which body of water had a cleaner water quality. After that we needed to write about our findings in an Edublog post. In this project I got to practice my communication core competency. This was because we were placed into groups when we went to the river and pond to collect samples. In those groups we needed to communicate to each other who would take photos, who would go in the river and who would record what was caught. I also practiced my creative thinking when writing my Edublog about the experience. I really enjoyed this project and hope we do more like this in the future.
