Reflection:

In this poem I chose to write about the theme of excessive consumption of electronics. In the poem people stated repeatedly that they can’t help themselves. This is meant to show how we are addicted to our devices such as phones and laptops. This takes up so much of our valuable time which people don’t notice. In the poem the people also mention that it is hard to leave the electronics that they are using and when they do they feel lost. Due to this they have become dependent on electronics and it is not good for them but they didn’t realize it. This was a  good project and help me think about how the excessive use of electronics effect our daily lives. It was interesting to write a blackout poem because I have written these types of poems before. It helped me with my creative thinking when writing the poem. I also would like to do more projects like this again.
