ONE PAGER-PATHWAYS TO THEME

I think that this project challenged two of my core competency skills. The first is my creative thinking. I needed to use my creative thinking skill to come up with theme statements and then turn those into deep questions. I first needed to read a story and then come up with theme statements about the book. After coming up with the theme statements I needed to turn those into questions about the human condition. This project also challenged my critical thinking skill. I needed to analyze the book for possible hints to a theme statement and a text to world connection. I also needed to design a one pager that was related to the story and got the message behind the story across. I enjoyed doing this project and hope we do many more like this in the future.
