First They Came For…..

First they came for the Football Players

and I did not speak out

because I was not a Football Player

Then they came for the Immigrants

and I did not speak out

because I was not an Immigrants

Then they came for the African Americans

and I did not speak out

because I was not an African American

Now when will they come for me

because I was too distracted or too unaware

to defend my friends and my family?
