In the book Don’t Tell Don’t Tell Don’t Tell by Liane Shaw, there is one character that has autism and he is being bullied. His name is Fredrick. One day he was sitting in the library and this girl came up to him and after they were talking for a while they became friends. Her name is Angel. Angel has moved houses a lot and she is frustrated with her parents because of that. She makes a plan to run away and she only tells Fredrick, her last words to fredrick is “don’t tell.” Fredrick becomes worried about Angel, when he doesn’t get a call from her. Fredrick then goes looking for her, and finds her alone in a forest. Together they find a way to escape the dangers. What I learnt from this book is that humans care about each other, we can be compassionate, and we fight for what we believe in.
