About me: Disneyland Adventure Park Trip

It was the last week of May when my family, friends and I went to Disneyland Adventure Park in California. When the plane is about to land, we experienced Turbulence which is normal since we’re landing. My friend which is seated beside me opens the window shade and we began to get worried as we both looked down. My friend’s mother that was wearing headphones then said, “What’s going on?!” in a loud voice which makes all the passengers worried as well and looked around to see what’s happening. When we disembark and walked our way outside, we all talked about what happened and laughed. She explained that she didn’t know that she said it out loud since she was listening to a movie on full volume. When we got outside, I looked around and it feels like I’m just here in Canada, except for the tall American flag in front of me. In the morning, let’s say around 6-10 am the weather is lukewarm. Then in the afternoon until nighttime, the weather is freezing. Most of the time, it rains in the afternoon. When the rain stops you can smell the rain which is called Petrichor, this gives me nostalgia since back in my home country in the Philippines, in the month of June until November we experience rainy seasons. Disneyland is the biggest place I’ve been to and is the most enjoyable vacation. I can already feel like a kid when riding fun and scary rides, meeting the princesses and different cartoon characters which is my dream since I was little, and lastly just enjoying and having not that much of responsibilities to do. We stayed at Disneyland for 4 days and we didn’t entirely explore each area since it’s ginormous. We first hit it off on the rollercoaster which is a hair-raising but exciting way to start of our first day here. We are going to ride the longest inverting roller coaster in the world! The lineup is long, but I was afraid, so it didn’t bother me at first. But when we are getting closer, I started to shiver and sweat despite of the cold weather. It was my first time to ride a rollercoaster, I badly wanted to try this but at the same time, I just wanted to run and leave. The sun was looking down at me as I sat down and put on the seatbelt. It took off and it was awfully fast in the speed of 55 miles per hour (89 km/h) that is 6.072 feet long. After the ride, this made me feel fearless and wanted to try out all rides and be a daredevil. But in the second ride, which is a hellevator that is 61m tall, all the courage that I have disappeared because I wasn’t expecting it to go up and drop you instantly. You can feel yourself flying off your seat, so you need to really hold on. But the thing is there is no handle! You can only hold the side and bottom of your seat which I find terrifying. As the ride instantly drop, you can hear thousands of people screaming. After that ride I felt my body begin to shiver and I felt goosebumps around my arm. Although it was scary, this experience was memorable. Disneyland isn’t just about the rides, there’s also countless of restaurants that serves mouthwatering dish. One of my favorites is the pasta, they serve different kinds of foods but personally I think the pasta is the best. I prefer this dish because of the savory taste. You can taste the butter, the smoke from the pasta, the smell of a well-cooked pasta and you can see and smell that it was serve fresh. Those 4 days was tiring, fun, and extraordinary. The time passes by so quickly and sadly we had to go. This is one of the best vacations I’ve had, and I’d love to go back in Disneyland over and over again!
