My Silver Lining

My Silver Lining

When the virus spread to multiple countries, many were forced to go into quarantine to make the situation controllable. Due to this pandemic, we need to stay inside our homes to prevent it from spreading even more. Before spring break, my friends and my family are looking forward on hanging out together, but sadly we couldn’t do it this time. But looking into the brighter and positive aspects of the situation, there are still good things that’s happening to me even if there’s a global pandemic. The most important thing is that I spend most of my time with my family and it makes me feel exhilarated to be with them everyday. Before this crisis, my cousins and I are busy with school, but since we need to stay inside our house, we felt enthusiastic since we get to spend our time playing video games, watching movies together and just goof around all day. Second, I have plenty of time to improve myself on drawing caricatures, I also read more books than I usually do, and learning how to manage my time (which is an important skill that I need). Lastly, I have more time for myself and for my dog. I get to take care of myself and look after my health which is really needed at a time like this. I also have a lot of time to spare and I use it to take care of my dog and sometimes dress him up. This kind of event has never happened in my life, it made me more independent when it comes to taking care of myself and this gave me plenty amount of time to enhance and improve my skills and I also have plenty of time to spare for my family. Therefore, this event made me realized that even if something negative is happening in our life, there is still a positive aspect through it.
