Hovercraft Reflection
Jayden. W and Gautom.B
This is our hovercraft reflection. The task that we were instructed to do was to create a mini hovercraft using basic materials and one or two motors powered by a 9v battery. Jayden and I went on an adventure while building this hovercraft. We had ups and downs and ended up with a partially working hovercraft. If we could go back to the beginning some things that we should improve on next time include having a more thought out plan and bringing more materials to begin with, these things would improve the outcome immensely. The reason we should have thought of a more well-planned idea is because we found out early that we couldn’t make the original blueprint of our plan work because we didn’t think it about what foam to use, and we ended up using the wrong type of foam. The reason we think that we should have brought more materials for the hovercraft earlier on is that we ended up wasting a lot of time due to not having the materials we needed. I believe that a good thing that we did well is our teamwork and work ethic throughout the project, as we both contributed equally. Overall, we tried our best to make a mini hovercraft but not everything goes as planned, If we could take one lesson into the next project it would be that Planning is the most important faze of a successful project and that even though the hovercraft didn’t work we are not willing to give up.
