for this project, we were tasked to make any project that we wanted to show what we have learned from this past term. so i decided to engrave a dragon on to a piece of wood with the sole purpose of being decoration. this project was a fun way to put our skills to the test. during this project i’ve had my ups and downs, from the beginning to this project to the end. here are some of the problems/downs that i’ve encountered during this project. the first struggle i had was deciding what i was going to build, i was thinking about this all winter break and even before winter break even started. this led to me making a blueprint for something i was not really keen on building, so i changed my blueprint and project idea after i already wrote everything down, doing this made me a little behind and took a little more time. another problem that occurred during this project was that i didn’t know what design i was going to put on on piece of wood, which led to me wasting time and causing me to get behind schedule. now here are some of the strengths/ups that i’ve had during this project. the first strength that i’ve had was the ability to use the machines in the shop. another strength that i’ve had was being able to ask for help/ask questions because whenever i needed something/wondered something i would ask Mr.Romani, who helped me a lot during this project. overall i think that i did pretty well on this project, but something that i could improve on next time is making a better plan and having all the materials there in time.
