Early interphase
early interphase is the longest cell cycle stage and its where the cell carries out its various functions.
Late Interphase
late interphase is where DNA copies itself in the process of replication. DNA copies itself by, unwinding the DNA molecule with the help of an enzyme. then the new bases are paired up with the bases on the original DNA. now two new identical DNA molecules are produced.
Prophase
prophase is when the nucleolus disappears and then the spindle fibres form, and then theĀ spindle fibres attach to the centromeres of the chromosomes.
Metaphase
metaphase is when all the chromosomes in the cell align on the middle/equator of the cell.
Anaphase
anaphase is when the spindle fibres pull the sister chromatids to the opposite side of the cell.
Telophase
telophase is when the spindle fibres disappear and then a nuclear membrane forms around each set of chromosomes.
Cytokinesis
cytokinesis is the separation of the nuclei into two daughter cells
that was modeling mitosis, thank you for reading
Great work including pictures, captions, and descriptions of the complete process of mitosis.
