Winston is the main charector in 1984, the world he lives in is under 24/7 supervision by the Big Brother. He works in the Records Department of the Ministry of Truth. Winston is starting to not like the government and has realized that the way it is being run is wrong. He started writing in a diary and having really bad thoughts about big brother and he knows he has a short time to live now that he has just thought about doing bad things but he has also wrote them down so they have proof. There is a pretty girl that wears a sash the shows that she does not participate in sexual activities and Winston is not ok with that and it makes him angry because he likes her and doesnt like that he cant have her. In my opinion I agree with Winston in regards to not being ok with how big brother is running the city but i think his thoughts are wrong about the girl.
