Elemental Infofluency Sway and Reflection

Reflection Questions

Questions I Researched to Make My Sway:
• How was tin first discovered?
• Why don’t we use tin anymore?
• Where did the name “tin” come from?

New or Familiar Tools I used to Make This Project:
One new tool that I used to make this project was Sway, before this project I’d heard of Sway but never even knew what it was for, and now I can confidently say that I am able to use this tool in an efficient way, I might also use Sway in the future as I found it quite fun to make a presentation and then look through to see what it looks like. Familiar tools that I used to make my project was Bing to find my information and Word to list all of my citations to then paste into this post.

Process of Verification and Citation:
My process for finding and verifying that the information I had found was true was to find some sources that give similar info. The process I had for citing the images that I used was to first find an image, then find what the image’s name is and then copy the image’s link onto the word document that I had.

Process of Completing this Assignment:
Making my assignment involved a lot of learning new things such as how to use a program like Sway and learning new things about tin and the periodic table itself, my favourite part of making this assignment was probably adding the images and looking to see how it looked when I played the sway, making the text cards was also fun but overall, I’m happy with what my end product turned out to be, especially for a first time of using a new program.
