  1. To prove how the Aboriginals lost out, you could mention their contributions to the major battles we discussed (Detroit, Queenston Heights, Beaver Dams, Thames/Moraviantown). Remember that the biggest loss to the Aboriginals living in American territory was that Britain’s obligations of the Royal Proclamation of 1763 were now lost. From 1814 on, Aboriginals living south of the Great Lakes will have to deal with the Americans (who have a more organized army after the war).
    For the identity part, remember how one article explained that Americans celebrated every win while Canadians were quiet about their victories.

    Good job. Some more elaborations on the causes of the war and whether or not the war solved any of that would improve your discussion.
