In the book “The Dead Zone” by Stephen King a young man named John Smith is involved in a serious car accident and ends up in a coma for four years. After he awakes he experiences psychic visions of the future and the past. He has lost four years of his life and the woman he loves was taken away from him. After John recovers from his coma, he tries to use his abilities for good by solving police cases. Although in the end, his visions show a dark future and John is determined to save humanity, at the cost of his. I learned that human life is unpredictable and sometimes bad things happen to good people who don’t deserve it. Sometimes your whole life can be taken away from you without any warning.
