Science 9 Honour – Chemical Information

Oxalic Acid

-What is it?

It’s a highly concentration dangerous chemical substance used in manufactures such as some brands of bleach, anti-rust product, metal cleaners and used in chemical analysis. It’s found in spinach and some other plants including raw rhubarb (for rhubarb, the leaves have high levels of oxalic acid, so we don’t eat them, they’re poisonous)
