Today I learned how to distinguish if a website and its info true or a hoax (not true).
How to determine how reliable a webpage info is:
- Who is it by? Do they give credits?
- When was it posted?
- Can you verify this information? Compare to other sources.
- Are there any spelling mistakes?
- Are there any ads?
To find a publication go to the school website> Riverside Secondary > Library (might need to enter your username and password) > click on the highlighted link “click here”> (under EDSCO database) Academic Search Premier > Publications > search any magazine you like.
