What is it: Calcium turning are grey silvery metal that react with water.

How does it work: They are used to make cement and in building stones.

How much is there on earth: Calcium covers 4.1% and is the fifth most ample metal on earth. Calcium turnings are also found in limestone, gypsum etc.

Why do we need this: We need this because nurses use these to set bones and builders use these with other things to make plasters.

When was this discovered/made: A man named Antoine Lavoisier discovered it in 1808 and classified it as a unknown element.
